The room was a nice size and air-conditioned, the hotel was fairly clean. Rooms with hot water in the shower had a quiet atmosphere. An electric kettle and a refrigerator were a huge plus.
There was very uncomfortable bed in my room.

Review for Nafsika Hotel Athens Centre
I had an amazing 1-night stay here! The staff was friendly and helpful, promptly resolving any issues I had. I booked a room with an extremely comfy bed, along with Wi-Fi, a writing desk, and ample closet space. The hotel's location, just minutes from a central market and a church, was unbeatable. Plus, there was a great selection of food for breakfast, and everything was quite decent.

Review for Nafsika Hotel Athens Centre:
I booked a stay for one day and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, always ready to assist. Our room offered great value for money, was a good size, and included a comfortable double bed and a lovely balcony. The hotel is located in a central area, conveniently near Athens' main attractions and the metro, which made getting around easy. The venue's bar was also very nice.

The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and available, we were received by a young blonde with short hair very gentle who explained everything in relation to the tourist sites, how to use public transport and what things to know. Besides, once we checked out, we were allowed to leave our luggage in a small hold so that we could tour the city a couple of hours more before the flight . The breakfast is good, it's buffet, in the cafe in front of the hotel, fresh and very good food, however the variety is not very big, there are few options to choose between juice, coffee/milk, cereal, bread, cake and especially fruit. I like to eat a lot of fruit at breakfast, which was not possible because there were only 2 types of fruit available: peaches in syrup and oranges. Apart from that the rest is very good, clean and nice place, plus another variety of products on the menu (which had to be paid extra of course) but at very accessible prices. Regarding the area of the hotel, aesthetically it is not very striking, however the location is good, since the subway station is 2 minutes walk from the hotel, and from this station you can go to the Acropolis, Monastiraki, Syntagma and others in a few minutes, as well as the arrival/return to the airport. A few steps from the metro station there is a place called Bread Factory where you can have breakfast, lunch, dinner, go for a coffee or dessert for a good price and with a great variety of sweet or salty food. Also the National Archaeological Museum, is 15 minutes walk from the hotel and is a visit worth making. On the way to the Museum there is a small supermarket where you can buy water, snacks and other items at a lower price than in restaurants, kiosks or cafes.
The structure of the hotel as such seemed very old to me. When we booked the room, we requested a quiet environment, and therefore we were placed in the inner part of the hotel, with a view to nowhere, just a wall. The bathroom was small, the hair dryer was broken and taped, the walls of the room seemed very "thin" to the point that you could hear the conversations or the television of the other guests, the balcony of the room was not clean and my husband noticed that the sheets of the bed although they were clean and perfumed had several old stains like makeup . Regarding the cleanliness INSIDE the room, it was noticeable that it had been recently refurbished and decorated and we even had cleaning service the day after the admission

The room was relatively spacious and separated very well from the hotel corridor, and you could hardly hear the noises outside. The location is excellent! Two minutes from the train station and very close to the Akropolis
bed was too small. My husband and I had almost no room to move and one had to improvise with "a bed" on the floor. Due to a hurricane warning, one of our trips to one of the islands was cancelled and we had to reschedule the whole trip. We called several hotels to explain the situation and everyone understood and although our reservations were without refund, except at that hotel. It's not so much that it's annoying, because they were within their rights, overbearing tone of the man we spoke to on the phone to discuss the issue, was unacceptable! There are ways of saying the same thing and not falling so hard! Luckily, we arrived, we were met by a much nicer receptionist!

Most of all we liked the very friendly staff. We received a warm welcome on the early morning (5:25 A.m!) that we arrived. We were shown a little cafe where we could have some breakfast and afterwards they gave us an early check-in which we appreciated alot :-) Furthermore, we were given alot of friendly advice, good tips and had lovely conversation with Yanis who told us alot about Athens and Greece. Our stay in Athens was lovely and it was really easy to get around by metro. The metro station is situated right by the hotel and 1,40 euro will get you all around town and straight to the main squares and (tourist)sights of Athens. It's also easy to travel to the port Pireas (1,40) and to the airport (8 euro pp). Overall we had a great time at Nafsika. Thank you Yanis and staff. Chris & Eva from Holland.
